STOL operations (short takeoff and landing) are used in order to transport supplies to areas under emergencies, which cannot be accessed via ground. Such operations require skilled pilots in order to execute STOL maneuvers with large airplanes in short runways. Therefore, the Department of Special Operations of IVAO Venezuela has planned to recreate to a certain extent such kind of operations in which some skills are going to be put under testing such as in-flight formation, as well as the skills to land these airplanes in really short runways.
